Authorities say both 31-year-old Jermane Hodge and 30-year-old Antoinette Gueits were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Hodge was charged with an additional possession count dealing with intent to sell heroin.

Investigators say they executed a search warrant at 16 Tompkins Street early Friday (March 11).

According to state police, three children - ages 1, 6 and 10 - were in the home at the time of the raid. The children were turned over to a family friend.

Hodge and Gueits were arraigned in Binghamton city court. Hodge was sent to Broome County Jail without bail. Gueits was released on her own recognizance.
