A Johnson City man is accused of having heroin, a handgun and items used to distribute drugs in his home on Lewis Street.

The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force yesterday searched the home and found 25 glassine envelopes containing heroin, loose heroin, the drug packaging materials and a .32 caliber revolver.

Police say 52 year old Cordell Palmer is charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor criminally using drug paraphernalia.
