The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force reports the arrest of two Endicott residents following a search of a vehicle on Hayes Avenue June 25.

Authorities say they found 26 year old Samantha Bates and 30 year old Orlando Torres were wanted for criminal mischief. But, A search of the two and the vehicle also turned up 157 bags of heroin, 5.1 grams of crack cocaine, three Suboxone patches and $2,996.

Bates is charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance as well as being held on the Binghamton warrant.

Torres was held on the criminal mischief warrant.

Both were sent to the Broome County Jail.
