Heroin Seized in Endicott

A search of an Endicott apartment results in arrest and recovery of close to 200 glassine envelopes containing heroin.

The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force descended on the Marion Street home January 25 to execute a search warrant.

Authorities say they arrested 32 year old Ryan Mills on two felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and a violation of unlawful possession of marijuana.

In addition to the 179 packets of heroin, police seized $608 believed to drug sale proceeds.

Mills was sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.
