Heroin Seized After Owego Traffic Stop
A New York City man faces a felony drug possession charge following a traffic stop in Tioga County.
Authorities say 28-year-old Donnell Grant was pulled over by a sheriff's deputy in the village of Owego.
According to the Tioga County Sheriff's Office, some heroin and $905 in cash was confiscated.
Grant was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell. He also faces counts of promoting prison contraband and aggravated unlicensed operation, in addition to traffic infractions.
Grant was arraigned in Owego town court and ordered held on $50,000 bail.
Grant is to appear in town court on February 19.
