Heroin Bust in Endicott

An Endicott woman is accused of having over three dozen bags of heroin in her possession.

Endicott Police and New York State Police say 34 year old Zenaida Montanez was a passenger in a vehicle that authorities stopped yesterday.

Police say between a search of the vehicle and the woman’s home, they found she had a total of 37 packets of heroin, $600 in cash and a digital scale.

Montanez is charged with two felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

 She was sent to the Broome County Jail.
