A community "Binghamton Heroin Awareness Night" will be held Tuesday, April 28th at SUNY Broome in the school's gymnasium.  The forum is open to everyone in the area and offers residents a chance to listen to ten different speakers discussing the heroin epidemic in our region.

Doors open for the event at 6:30 PM with the presentations scheduled from 7-9 PM.  The night is sponsored by SUNY Broome Center for Civic Engagement, SUNY Broome Department of Psychology, Human Services and Chemical Dependency Counseling.

Broome County Legislator Jason Garnar and Joe Gonzalez from "Imdopewithoutdope" have organized the program. Both were guests on First News with Roger Neel on News Radio 1290 WNBF on Friday.  Speakers include:
