The 2017 Southern Tier Heart Walk is set for Sunday, April 9 on campus at SUNY Broome.  The walk will begin and finish at the SUNY Broome Ice Center. The event is presented by Visions Federal Credit Union.

Tim Strong, Director of Business Development for Visions welcomed a number of business representatives, volunteers and team captains who will offer their support to fight heart disease and stroke.

The announcement came during a kickoff reception at the Holiday Inn Binghamton on Thursday night.  Organizers announced a goal of $250,00 for this year's walk.  Money raised from the event helps with research, education and advocacy groups to help in the fight against heart disease and stroke.
