Theodore Roosevelt Elementary students will be showing off their green thumbs to their families and neighbors on the North Side of Binghamton October 18.

The students are hosting a free harvest dinner prepared with vegetables grown by the children.

The event is part of the “Eat Well, Play Hard Binghamton” project from the Healthy Lifestyles Coalition athat was formed in 2012 to improve the health of children and families.

The United Way of Broome County, Promise Zone, UHS Teddy Bear Clinic, VINES, Cornell Cooperative Extension and Fidelis Care are also partners for the dinner that takes place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Roosevelt Elementary Cafeteria on Ogden Street in Binghamton.
