Hands Only CPR at Highland PRK

Visitors to today's (July 4th) Extravaganza at Highland Park in Endwell will have the opportunity to learn Hands Only CPR.  Organized and sponsored by the Union Volunteer Emergency Squad, Endwell Rotary and the American Heart Association, training sessions will be held in the Highland Park Recreation Center from 1-6 PM.

Under the supervision of Mike Taylor the training sessions only take about 20 minutes.  Hands Only CPR is designed to provide lifesaving procedures to give victims of cardiac arrest the chance at life until emergency responders reach the victim.

When someone collapses knowing emergency CPR techniques can save a life.  Taylor and his fellow volunteers have trained several thousand adults and students in Hands Only CPR.  There is no fee for today's course.
