Hancock Traffic Stop Leads to Charges Against Downstate Residents

Two Downstate residents are due on Town of Hancock Court later this month after being stopped by New York State Police in Delaware County.

Officials say 18 year old Italyia Circelli of the Averne neighborhood in Queens was pulled over Sunday on Route 17 in Hancock.

Troopers say Circelli is charged with criminal possession of stolen property and driving without a license.

20 year old Sydney Girard of Freeport in Nassau County is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

Circelli was sent to the Delaware County Jail on one-thousand dollars bail.  Girard was ordered to appear in Hancock Court on the 21^st.
