A Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania woman will be sentenced in May after pleading guilty to charges connected to a shoplifting and flight case that started in Vestal.

28 year old Sara Muskas of Hallstead has pleaded guilty to felony burglary and unlawfully fleeing police.

Prosecutors say Muskas stole items from the Vestal Walmart on September 22 then tried to outrun police in marked squad cars, driving recklessly and crashing into vehicles on the Vestal Parkway and in the City of Binghamton.

There were no injuries.

Under the plea deal, Muskas is looking at six months in the Broome County Jail for fleeing police and six months probation for the burglary.

Before stealing cellphone accessories, allergy medication, personal care items and headphones last September, Muskas had been banned from the Walmart property for previous suspected offenses.

Sentencing is scheduled for May 22.
