Hallstead Man is Killed in Hit and Run Crash

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a hit and run collision that has resulted in the death of one person.

Officials say 20 year old Earl Youngs of Hallstead was walking on State Route 11 near Sunset Bowling Lanes in Great Bend at around 1:30 a.m. January 15 when he was hit by a small, sport utility vehicle, suffering fatal injuries.

Troopers say the SUV was sliver with black plastic trim and will have damage to its front end and passenger side headlight assembly.
