Gusto..."A Taste of Italy" is set for Friday in the Little Italy District on Endicott's Northside.  Gusto is a celebration of the proud Italian heritage in Endicott and surrounding community.  The event was started to help people remember their family and community history and to promote pride in their Italian roots.

There will be dozens of food vendors with everything from lamb spiedies to lasagna, pizza, spaghetti, Italian ice and much more.  There will be activities for children at George W. Johnson Park on Oak Hill Avenue.  The festival stretches from there to Witherill Street and Odell Avenue.

Gusto began as a neighborhood block party and has become so popular that people from all over the area attend to savor Italian specialties, enjoy various types of entertainment and socialize with neighbors and friends.

WNBF's Roger Neel will broadcast live from Gusto from 5 - 7 PM.  The event goes until 10 PM.  There is no admission charge to enter.
