It was a beautiful night to be outdoors last night and hundreds turned out to enjoy Gusto on Endicott's Northside.  Gusto celebrates Endicott's Italian heritage and started out a few years ago as a small block party with people from the neighborhood gathering to chat and enjoy music, other entertainment and of course delicious Italian food.

Over the years the event has proven to be so enjoyable and such a success that attendance has grown and attracts not only residents from the Northside but from all over the area.  Held from 5 - 10 PM Gusto attracted many people who came to eat dinner with friends and family.

Spiedies, including lamb spiedies were offered, along with manicotti, hot sausage, meatball subs, pork and greens and gelato, cannoli and other favorites. These were available from various vendors lined along Witherill Street from Odell Avenue to Oak Hill Avenue and surrounding area.

Various singers performed including youngsters involved in presentations at the Endicott Performing Arts Center.  A magician put on a show for the children at George W. Johnson Park and many grandparents were seen with sons, daughters and grandchildren enjoying the evening.
