Andre Lee is guilty on all counts in the July 4, 2014 shooting death of 19 year old Scott Wright, Jr. outside the Town and Country Apartments in Binghamton.

In a second day of deliberations, a Broome County Jury convicted the 23 year old of murder and four other felony charges.  The jury deliberated about nine hours before delivering the verdict.

Sentencing is set for September 21.  Lee faces a maximum of 25 years to life in prison.

Neither side disputed whether Lee shot Wright in the stomach, causing fatal injury.  The argument surrounded whether Lee intended to kill Wright after being teased at a 4th of July party.  If it was determined, as Lee claimed, that the shooting was unintentional, there was a possibility of a reduced charge of manslaughter.

Wright had just graduated from Binghamton High School, where he was known for his skills in football and on the track team.  The teen had planned to attend Broome Community College.
