Guilty Plea in Rape of 12 Year Old in Endicott

Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file][/caption]Broome County man will be sentenced to 25 years in prison after pleading guilty to attacking and raping a 12 year old girl.

The Broome County District Attorney’s Office says 49 year old Michael Gumaer had been charged with felony rape in the incident reported in Endicott.

He will be sentenced in February.

In addition to 25 years in prison, Gumaer is to be on parole for 20 years.
