An Endicott man is looking at a minimum of ten years and up to life in prison for directing a child prostitution ring in the region.

34 year old Alphonso Dennis January 15 pleaded guilty in Federal Court to four counts of sex trafficking a child and 2 counts of prostitution of a child.

He’s accused of marketing children for sex in an internet operation involving his girlfriend, 24 year old LaRhonda James and 24 year old Alphonso Ballard.

James pleaded guilty to sex trafficking and is to be sentenced in April.

Prosecutors say from about August to November, 2014, Dennis hosted two minors at his apartment, who met with men for proposing having sex for money.

Dennis reportedly drove the children to various locations to meet with the men.

The victims were 15 and 14 at the time and Dennis knew they were minors.

James was arrested after she drove one of the children to a Vestal motel to meet with a prospective client, who actually was an undercover officer.

Prosecutors say the gang posted sexually provocative photos of minors under “Binghamton Escorts” on Backpage.com.
