Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file][/caption]An Endicott man is admitting he forcibly stole money from a clerk at the Union Center Highway, Endwell Express Mart on April 28.

26 year old Derrick Smith has pleaded guilty to felony robbery and faces six years in prison.

Sentencing is set for October 15.

Smith reportedly displayed a handgun and demanded money from the clerk shortly after 11 p.m.

He was arrested several days later after authorities received numerous tips concerning surveillance photos posted by local media and on social media sites.

Smith is to be sentenced as a second felony offender since he had a prior conviction for grand larceny in Broome County in March of 2012.
