Greene Police Chief Under Investigation

A man who had been a village police chief in Chenango County has been charged with petit larceny and harassment.

State police say 43-year-old Steven Dutcher, who had been Greene police chief, was arrested following a report that village property was missing.

Investigators say Dutcher was arraigned in Oxford town court and released on his own recognizance.

State police say the investigation into Dutcher's activities is continuing.
