Several thousand people visited the Ball Flats in Greene on Saturday for the 26th annual Greene Apple Fest.  100 vendors displayed crafts and gifts and those in attendance were able to enjoy breakfast, lunch and many items made with the highlight of the day....apples.

Musical entertainment performed throughout the day.  Numerous volunteers worked on setting up the event and helping throughout the day on Saturday.  Organized by the Greene United Methodist Church, the annual event brings visitors from all over the region.

One of the highlights was watching Apple Butter being made and then enjoying samples of the freshly made treat after it was finishing cooking.
