Greek Peak Owners Buy Toggenburg

The owners of the Cortland County Greek Peak Mountain Resort have their sights set on another mountain.

Marc Meier and John Stemmerman of Elmira say, after investing over $9 million to make Greek Peak a year-round resort, they are buying Toggenburg Mountain in Fabius.

The purchase price is not being disclosed.

The Chemung County entrepreneurs say the latest resort, near Syracuse, does not need the rehabilitation that Greek Peak required.

It’s expected that Greek Peak skiers will be able to use their season passes to access both resorts.
