The Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce is taking a close look at business issues facing New York State lawmakers.The program, Unfinished Business: What New York Needs to do for Business this Year is open to the public and was scheduled for Terra Cotta Catering on State Street, Binghamton March 6.

The scheduled speakers include the state director of the National Federation of Independent Business, Make Durant and the executive director of Unshackle Upstate, Brian Sampson.

Chamber officials say specific concerns facing local business include the proposed legislation in Albany to increase the minimum wage as well as reforms to workers' compensation and unemployment insurance.
