New York State Police and the Cortland Police Department say a Homer man is being charged for allegedly releasing secret information he learned while serving on a Cortland County Grand Jury.

23 year old Collin Horak is charged with felony unlawful grand jury disclosure and misdemeanor unlawful disclosure of an indictment.

Investigators allege that while serving on a Grand Jury in July, he provided information to a defendant that included testimony of a witness and that a sealed indictment had been handed down.

Horak was released on his own recognizance following his arraignment in Cortland Court.
