Governor Paterson Discusses Trinidad Rally Controversy
Former New York Governor David Paterson sparked a bit of a controversy with an appearance at a political rally in Trinidad.
Paterson spoke on behalf of Dr. Keith Rowley, the People's National Movement candidate for prime minister.
Paterson discussed his weekend visit to Trinidad during an interview on WNBF Radio's Binghamton Now program.
Paterson, who currently is New York State Democratic Party chair, also talked about some of the candidates seeking the Republican and Democratic presidential nominations in the United States. He made some observations about Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. He also discussed the speculation among some Democrats that Vice President Joe Biden may choose to seek the nomination.
