A Warren County man is accused of driving under the influence of marijuana when his vehicle reported crashed into a disabled vehicle on Interstate 81 in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania in May, killing an Endicott man.

23 year old Dylan Schmiel of Glens Falls is charged with murder.

Pennsylvania State Police accuse Schmiel of speeding and passing vehicles on the right shoulder of the interstate in the Great Bend area at 6:56 p.m. May 10, hitting and killing 73 year old David Decker, who was outside his car that was stopped on the east shoulder of the road.

Schmiel is charged with homicide by motor vehicle while driving under the influence for allegedly operating a vehicle under the influence of marijuana, aggravated assault by vehicle while DUI, homicide by vehicle, involuntary manslaughter, recklessly endangering another person and other charges.

Schmiel was arrested in New York and is being extradited to Pennsylvania.
