The Annual Garlic Festival will be held this Saturday and Sunday at the American Civic Association, 131 Front Street in Binghamton.  This is one of the major fund-raising events every summer for the American Civic Association (ACA).  The ACA provides education and assistance for immigrants looking to legally obtain citizenship in the United States.

The Garlic Festival hours are Saturday from 11 AM until 5 PM and on Sunday from 11 AM until 4 PM.  There will be daily entertainment including musical acts, professional and amateur dancers and a food court featuring a variety of ethnic foods with take-out available.

Along with delicious food including garlic ice cream visitors can enjoy vendors selling various types of garlic and other products made with garlic. Admission per day is $2.00 per adult and $1 per child with children under 5 years of age admitted free of charge. WNBF Morning Show Host Roger Neel will broadcast live from the Garlic Festival Saturday from 11 AM - 1 PM.
