Gang Assault Charge in Binghamton

A Binghamton boy is accused of participating in a gang assault on a 20 year old man who was later shot in the chest.

Binghamton Police say 17 year old Willie Costick is charged with felony gang assault in the October 3 incident on Murray Street.

Officials accuse Costick of punching the victim before he was allegedly shot by 26 year old Walter Andino.

The victim was found lying in the road near Gerard Avenue and Murray Street at around quarter after 2 in the morning.

Andino is charged with attempted murder.
