Foundation Raises Scholarship Money

The Broome Sports Foundation is holding another Collectibles and Memorabilia Auction tonight when the Binghamton Senators host the Hershey Bears at the Floyd L Maines Veterans Memorial Arena at 7:05 PM.  The auction will be held in the concourse near the main entrance to the Arena.  Fans can bid on dozens of items...many of which come from the collections of  long-time fans Hans Petersen and Pete Zalaffi .

Some of the auction items available include: a Mike Dunham Signed Jersey, New York Yankees Spring Training Jersey, Broome Dusters Jacket, Broome Dusters Collectors Stick, Justin Plamondon Game Used Stick, Denis Hamel Game Used Stick, Barry Richter Game Worn Jersey, Corey Hirsch Game Used Stick and numerous gift baskets and restaurant gift certificates.

Proceeds raised from the auction will help to provide financial aid to outstanding community student athletes who are furthering their education.
