“Found” Credit Card Results in Charges

A Town of Lisle man is accused of using a woman's misplaced credit card twice at a local convenience store.

Broome County Sheriff’s officials say 25 year old James Lynch is charged with possession of stolen property and identity theft.

Authorities say a woman reported she had lost her credit card in the Upper Front Street area in the Town of Chenango Monday, February 8^th.

Investigators say they found the card had been used twice at the Speedway on Upper Front Street at Route 12A.

Deputies say Lynch was seen on surveillance video using the card.

Lynch was sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.
