Former Binghamton University ace Mike Augliera earned his first win of the season May 4 as the Portland Sea Dogs defeated the Binghamton Mets 4-1 at NYSEG Stadium.  Augliera is now 1-4 on the season.  He gave up six hits and one run over five innings on the mound.

Augliera was drafted in 2012 in the fifth round by the Boston Red Sox.  He is in his second season with Portland at the Double-A level.  Last season he posted a record of 8-10 with an ERA of  4.56.

When Augliera left the Binghamton Bearcats he had set team records for career wins with 23 and innings pitched with 298.1.
