CHOW will be able to feed a lot of hungry people in our community over this holiday period thanks to the generosity of hundreds of contributors who dropped off non-perishable food items at the Foodabago at MaineSource on Upper Front Street in Binghamton.  Over 3,000 pounds of food was collected during the past week.

CHOW will distribute the collected food to its various pantries around Broome County.  The upcoming holiday period is especially difficult for many individuals and families.  With a lengthy school vacation ahead during the Christmas break children who can usually get two meals a day at school will be home.  This increases the strain on families and their budgets.

CHOW will provide over 1.2 million meals to those in need this year.  The kindness of those of you who helped during the Foodabago drive is much appreciated.  THANK YOU from all of us at WNBF, Townsquare Media and CHOW.
