WNBF, Townsquare Media and CHOW are teaming up to try and help needy people in our community this Fall and Winter.  The Foodabago Camper from Jim's RV in Nichols is based at MAINESOURCE Food and Party Warehouse on Upper Front Street, Binghamton.  Radio personalities are staffing the food drive for CHOW.  Updates are being broadcast on WNBF with Roger Neel on location on Binghamton Now with Bob Joseph.

CHOW barrels are located outside the RV for drop-off of non-perishable food items anytime through Monday morning.  CHOW is looking for food donations to help feed needy families, especially during the holidays ahead.

Items needed include cereal, oatmeal, pasta, spaghetti sauce, juices, canned fruit and vegetables and peanut butter.  Low-sugar foods are also being requested for people who are diabetic or watching their sugar intake.

WNBF's Roger Neel will be at the Foodabago today from 9:30 - 12:30.

Binghamton Now host Bob Joseph will be there Saturday morning starting at 11 and Barb Mack will host her Polka Show live from the Foodabago Sunday beginning at 8 AM.

The Foodabago food drive goes til 10 AM Monday.  CHOW will distribute the food collected to needy area families.  Other locations participating are Tall Pines Farm Stoves and Fireplaces, Route 167, Kingsley, Pa. and Warner's Gas Service on Vestal Road, Vestal and Conklin Road, Conklin.  CHOW barrels are also located at these locations and residents close to these drop-off points are urged to donate food items there.
