Thanks to hundreds of participants the 2017 Food A Bago is a smashing success.  A record amount of food has been donated to CHOW to help fight hunger.  According to CHOW officials your contributions totaled 13,321 pounds...6.6 TONS of food !!!!  The old record was 8,010 pounds of non-perishable food items. Food-A-Bago was held at the Weis Market parking lot on Upper Front Street inside a huge Hillcrest RV.  Food-A-Bago was made possible by Gary's U-Pull It and Music for the Mission.

Along with the amazing amount of food you donated an additional $1,456 in cash, checks and gift cards which enables CHOW to buy items in bulk at low prices.

A major part of the Food-A-Bago Food Drive was the "Shopping Cart Challenge" where businesses would fill up a shopping cart with food and then challenge other businesses or groups and organizations to match what they raised.

The upcoming holiday period is a difficult time for many families and individuals in the area.  The food and money raised over the past week with Food-A-Bago is an immense help.  From CHOW and all of us at Townsquare Media we offer up a heartfelt THANK YOU for your incredible generosity !
