The Binghamton Mets were shutout 2-0 in Richmond as they concluded their four game series against the Flying Squirrels. Matt Koch started on the mound for Binghamton, threw three innings and took the loss dropping his record to 4-5. Phil McCormick got the win for Richmond upping his record to 4-3.

With the win the Flying Squirrels up their record to 55-52.  Binghamton now stands at 59-48.  Binghamton still held a one-game lead over the Trenton Thunder and a one and one-half game edge over Reading.

The B-Mets had seven hits in the game...all singles.  Binghamton stranded nine runners in the game.

The B-Mets have an off day on Monday. They then return to NYSEG Stadium for six straight games.  They will host the Bowie Baysox at 6:35 (6:20 air on News Radio 1290 WNBF) on Tuesday night.  Following  three games versus the Baysox  Binghamton will host the Trenton Thunder for three weekend games.
