First Widespread ‘Sticking’ Snow in the Twin Tiers
Twin Tiers residents are waking up to a coating of white on grassy surfaces and vehicles with a snow accumulation overnight of about 1/4-1/2 inch on grassy surfaces and vehicles in-town and a little more possible on the hilltops.
Area emergency services officials were reporting no major road impacts early this morning but noted the usual areas,
higher elevations, ramps and bridges may be slippery.
Residents are being advised to give themselves a little extra time to get where they are going to take into account cleaning off vehicles and slowing down on the roadways.
The National Weather Service says there is still a chance of a little more accumulating snow
overnight on Tuesday.
