No injuries are reported in a two-alarm house fire on Farm to Market Road that displaced a family, destroyed the home and pressed 11 fire companies either into service at the scene or on stand-by.

The blaze was reported at 7:06 p.m. January 3 and officials say it they are eyeing the chimney as a possible starting point.

Emergency Services officials say crews let the scene about 3 hours after being called out.

The Southern Tier Chapter of the American Red Cross is assisting the family.

Fire companies that were called out for the blaze were: East Maine, Endwell, Chenango, Maine, Union Center, Glen Aubrey, Choconut Center, West Corners, Vestal, Johnson City and Prospect Terrace along with ambulance crews and fire investigators.
