Fire Levels a Vestal Home on State Line Road

Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file][/caption]A house on State Line Road in the Town of Vestal is a total loss following a fire that was reported at 2:10 a.m. May 21.

Firefighters from at least eight companies were called to the two-alarm fire off Route 26 near Hawleyton, along with officers from New York State Police, Vestal Police and the Broome County Sheriff’s Office.  Several ambulance companies were also sent to the property.

Emergency Services Officials would only say the situation is under investigation when asked if there were any injuries.
