Fire Destroys Afton Mobile Home

Chenango County Fire Investigators are looking into the cause of a blaze at a vacant mobile home on Kathy Lane in Afton overnight April 22-23.

The blaze at the single-wide trailer was reported shortly before 12:30 a.m. April 23.

Officials say the owners live out of the area.

Firefighters from Afton, Bainbridge and Masonville responded to the scene.

The structure has been declared a total loss.

There were no injuries.
