No injuries are reported after fire damaged an apartment building in the Village of Marathon March 24.

Firefighters were called to Peck Street, right across from the fire station, shortly before 7 p.m. and found flames coming from the roof. The fire quickly spread but officials say the building was saved.

One tenant was home and he and his dog got out safely.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
