Felony DWI Charged in Johnson City

Johnson City Police say a 66 year old Village woman is facing felony charges following a crash on Main Street.

Officials responded to the crash and found the driver of one of the vehicles involved had left the scene.

Another driver followed Merry Gray to a home nearby.

Gray is charged with two felony drunk driving counts as well as leaving the scene of an accident and following too closely.

Police say the felony charges are due to Gray having a previous drunk driving conviction within the last ten years.

She’s been ordered to appear in Johnson City Village Court next month.
