New York State Police are continuing to investigate the cause of a Sunday afternoon crash in Tompkins County that claimed the life of a Lansing man and left four people seriously injured.

Authorities say a vehicle driven by 24 year old Rachelle Williams of Sylvan Beach was northbound on State Route 13 in Dryden at around 4:30 when her vehicle entered the southbound lane and collided, head-on with a southbound vehicle driven by 31 year old Timothy Starr of Lansing.

Starr was pronounced dead at the scene.  His passenger, 30 year old Kelly Starr of Lansing, Williams and her 5 year old daughter and 7 year old son were all seriously injured.  They are all being treated at Upstate University Medical Center in Syracuse.
