Fatal Crash in Delaware County Claims South Kortright Teen

A Delaware County teen is dead after losing control of the pickup truck he was driving on the morning of September 22.

Delaware County Sheriff's officials say the truck left the south side of the road on a curve, crashed into a tree and caught fire shortly before 5:30 a.m.

18 year old Michael Ackerman of South Kortright was killed in the crash on State Highway 10 near Webster Brook Road in Delhi.  Ackerman was alone in the vehicle.
