Fatal Car/Pedestrian Collision in Binghamton

A Binghamton man is dead after being hit by a vehicle Saturday evening.

City of Binghamton police say 37 year old Thomas Jones was crossing at the intersection of the Brandywine Highway and Robinson Street at around 6:30 when he was hit by the vehicle.

Jones was pronounced dead at the scene.

No charges have been filed at this time and police say it's not believed alcohol was involved.
