Calvin Harris and his four teenage children are asking for tips to help determine what happened to Michele Harris.

The Tioga County woman has been missing since September 2001. Her husband was twice convicted of murder in her disappearance. Those verdicts were overturned and he's facing another murder trial next September.

Cayla, Jenna, Taylor and Tanner Harris joined their father in an appearance before reporters in Owego this afternoon to urge anyone with information to call a tip line.

The phone number has been set up by the Harris defense team in an effort to develop leads that could help determine what happened to Michele Harris.

They say information received will be kept confidential. The number is 607.215.5166.

Cayla Harris said: "We need to know what really happened to our mother. We know our dad had nothing to do with her disappearance." She urged anyone with information to come forward to help keep the family together.

During a brief statement, Calvin Harris became emotional. He said "he did not have any involvement" in his wife's disappearance.

Harris recounted his struggle to raise his children despite being taken away "for long periods of time." He said: "We love each other and we need to be together."

Attorney Bruce Barket says he and investigators working on behalf of Harris won't stop until the "culprit or culprits responsible for Michele's disappearance" are found.
