Family Friendly Binghamton Bridge Pedal
If you've got a bicycle and have been looking for the perfect excuse to blow the dust off and pump air into the tires, the Binghamton Bridge Pedal would be it, and to make things even more perfect, the weather this weekend is supposed to be nice, with not a drop of rain in sight for Saturday.
At one time, Binghamton was a bustling town with factories all over, creating hundreds of different projects and bringing great wealth to the area. Binghamton truly is filled with fascinating history and the Binghamton Bridge Pedal is the perfect way to learn all about our river town!
The 12th Annual Binghamton Bridge Pedal will take place this Saturday, August 25th from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The police escorted 10-mile ride will start and finish at TechWorks! at 321 Water Street in Binghamton and during your ride, you'll not only get to take in the scenery but will learn about local history.
At the finish of the ride, you can stick around for Backyard Bytes and Bites from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the TechWorks! museum.
