Join us on Tuesday, November 19 at 6:00 PM for a free showing of The Express. The film is based on the true story of Syracuse University football player Ernie Davis, the first African American athlete to win the Heisman Trophy. Born in Pennsylvania and raised by a single mother in Elmira, New York, Davis goes on to lead the Syracuse University varsity team to victory in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s, until illness threatens to end his football career for good. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. Hope to see you there!
