Courtship Tails is a humorous adults-only Valentine’s Day event held at the Binghamton Zoo that highlights animal facts and rituals that relate to courtship and mating. Couples will be escorted by a tour guide throughout the zoo in a heated van, stops at Wolf Woods and Woodland Waters will allow guests to enjoy coffee, desserts, and wine tasting. With a go behind the scenes stop with our African penguins and snow leopard, Tushar!

Tours will be held on February 11th and 12th, at 10:30 am, 12:00 pm, 1:30 pm, and 3:00 pm. Each tour lasts about an hour and a half and includes the guided tour, behind the scenes visit to the snow leopard and penguin back up areas, dessert foods, drinks, a commemorative framed photo to take home, and a $30 gift certificate to dinner with your sweetheart at a local restaurant.

Tours are limited to four couples, and reservations are required for Courtship Tails. Tickets are $125 for non-member couples and $110 for member couples. Guests must be 21 years or older. Limited walking will be required, but we encourage you to dress warm.
