7th Annual Running 4 A Reason

Running 4 A Reason 5k Run/Walk will take place on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 9am, starting at the Greene Ball Flats.

Proceeds to benefit the medical and living expenses of the recipient, who this year is Karen VanVoorhis, who is battling stage 3 ovarian cancer.

To register online go to http://runsignup.com/Race/NY/Greene/RunningForAReason  We will be awarding prizes for numerous age groups, to the overall male and overall female finisher, for the youngest and oldest participant as well as an award for the individual who traveled the furthest.  We will also be having a chicken bar-b-que provided by Smokin’ Bones BBQ, $6.50 per half.  There will be a bake sale and raffles.  We will be seeking donations for the bake sale and raffle items.   New this year is the ability to sponsor a tenth of a mile of the race by paying a $10.00 donation.  Individuals wishing to donate any items or sponsor the race can contact Patty Washburn via email at pwashburn17@gmail.com
