Enjoying A February Swim In Binghamton

Bob Joseph/WNBF News

With temperatures hitting 40 Thursday afternoon, some swimmers were spotted in the Chenango River taking advantage of the relatively mild conditions.

The scene was just south of the Clinton Street bridge.

National Weather Service forecasters predict Friday’s high temperature in Binghamton will be around 41 under partly sunny skies.

The weekend will be cooler with Saturday expected to be cloudy with a chance of snow and a high of 28.

After a few days of cooler conditions, things may warm up again Tuesday when the forecast calls for a high of 42 with a mix of rain and snow.
